Samantha Lam is a registered psychologist with over 15 years of consulting experience. During her career, she has partnered with a diverse range of organisations in Europe, Asia and Australia to assess and develop effective workplaces and workforces. A pragmatist by nature, Sam enjoys understanding the complexities and challenges of organisations and collaborating with clients to design and implement effective strategies to suit their needs. Having worked as an internal and external consultant with many companies, she has a solid appreciation of the commercial imperatives and disruptors that businesses today face in order to remain relevant and sustainable in an increasingly competitive landscape.

Diverse in her experiences, Sam has been fortunate to have worked with local, national and multi-national organisations across a range of industries in providing strategic and operational advice and solutions around the breadth of people and culture areas; her expertise covers cultural change, organisational development, leadership development, recruitment, talent management, diversity and inclusion, organisational learning and individual development. She has worked alongside a wide variety of clients and her industry experience spans across financial services, insurance, professional services, telecommunications, engineering, construction, architecture, logistics, healthcare, local, state and federal government, aged care and not-for-profits.

A believer in people’s potential, Sam’s passion is to help others to fulfil their aspirations and be mentally healthy. In addition to her consulting role, Sam is a reservist in the Royal Australian Air Force where she helps personnel with challenges that impact their mental health and performance and to build their mental strength to effectively handle the stressors of military life. She is also an advocate of the benefits of therapy dogs on wellbeing and volunteers with the Delta Society with her therapy dog, Reorg.
